ISAGER TWEED is spun and dyed in IRELAND
ISAGER TWEED is a single ply and a blend of 70% wool and 30% mohair. This yarn has a slightly irregular, homespun look, yet the mohair fibres give the yarn a remarkable softness and a lovely sheen. Isager Tweed works equally well for both indoor and outdoor garments and with the small flecks in different colours the yarn has a very lively surface.
Isager Tweed used individually is knitted on 3 – 4 mm
Isager Tweed and Alpaca 1 held together are knitted on 3.5 – 4.5 mm needles
Isager Tweed and Alpaca 2 held together are knitted on 4 – 5.5 mm needles
Isager Tweed and Silk Mohair held together are knitted on 4 – 7 mm needles
