Happy New Year! Continuing January Sale!! - Oxford Yarn Store
Happy new year! our January sale continues!

A very Happy New Year and best wishes for an auspicious 2019. We hope that everyone has had a good Christmas holiday period - we cannot wait for evidence in the form of a deluge of customer knits' photos to show off everyone's Christmas projects! I managed to make several hats for gifts as well as a sweater (knitted for my husband under his nose without his guessing!), two pairs of fingerless mitts and a huge Rowan Big Wool scarf to insulate my son against a winter in Budapest.

Who can believe that it's already 2019?!  I was watching a sci-fi film with my family the other evening, it could have been Blade Runner, trying to follow the plot whilst happily knitting, when 2019 appeared on the screen. This was the date of a dystopian future as imagined back in the 1980's. And now here we are, dealing with chaos of a more terrestrial kind than predicted by Ridley Scott and co, as we finish off the mince pies and think about getting back to what passes for normal.

James and I are very busy with the January Sale. There are lots of bargains with 20% or more off all yarns until Saturday. What happier way to start the new year than by lining up your projects for the rest of the winter! Our sale will continue after the wekend but do come soon for the best bargains.

Hope to see you soon. Happy Knitting and Crocheting!

Please note that there will be no Knit Club this evening, Thursday 3rd January, and that we will close at 6pm instead of staying open late until 8pm. Normal opening hours resume from tomorrow.
